本應用程式可能會擷取 Wiktionary 的內容，並以格式化方式顯示。 衍生自 Wiktionary 的文字依 CC BY-SA 4.0 及 GFDL 授權。 本應用程式的使用條款不會限制該等授權所允許的任何使用方式。
來自 JMdict／JMnedict 的辭典資料
BlueReader 使用 Electronic Dictionary Research and Development Group（EDRDG）發布的 JMdict 及 JMnedict 資料，提供日英辭典查詢。該資料註明出處為 EDRDG，並依 EDRDG 授權，按 CC BY-SA 4.0 使用。每個辭典彈出式查詢結果也會顯示其來源及授權。
依營運程序，至少每月檢查一次官方資料更新，並使用最新的 JMdict 及 JMnedict 檔案執行 pnpm run dictionary:build-ja-en，重新產生匯入用 SQL。審查後，執行 pnpm run dictionary:import-ja-en:staging 將更新後的資料套用至預備環境，驗證完成後再部署至正式環境。
進行本機開發時，請將官方 JMdict_e.gz 及 JMnedict.xml.gz 檔案放入 .local/dictionary/，執行 pnpm run db:migrate:sqlite:local，接著執行 pnpm run dictionary:build-ja-en 及 pnpm run dictionary:import-ja-en:local。
